Company Bio

Mid-Atlantic Engineering was started in 2012 in Suffolk, VA, with a primary focus on Bridge Safety Inspections. Since then, we have expanded our inspection program throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, and have had the opportunity to work with agencies from Virginia Beach to Bristol, and everywhere in between. We have increased our staff gradually over the years with a group of individuals with wide-ranging experience in bridge inspection, rating, and design, and have recently begun working with cities and municipalities on bridge repair and design projects in central Virginia. Mid-Atlantic Engineering is currently registered as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in Virginia, North Carolina, Maine, and New Hampshire.

Locations

While Mid-Atlantic Engineering is headquartered in Suffolk, VA, we also operate a satellite office in Charlottesville, VA to better serve our clients in the central and western portions of the state.  Additionally, we are currently in the process of establishing an office in Brunswick, ME, with plans to expand into bridge inspection and design in the northeast.
